I am a Journalist, Editor and Communications and Engagement Consultant, with extensive experience in public information, digital comms, government and media relations, project management and events organisation. I write about issues in the financial, energy, international development and built environment sectors, as well as corporate social responsibility.
In addition, I serve as Communications, Networks & Youth Affairs Advisor to the Commonwealth Journalists Association, and am an elected member of its international executive committee. I also serve on the executive committee of the CJA’s UK branch.
Over the past decade, I have worked for public affairs, media and government sector organisations, such as Cicero Consulting, the Commonwealth Secretariat, United Business Media and Centaur Media, as well as the United Nations and Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. I also served as a ministerial aide in the Ministerial Briefing Unit of the Home Office, UK Government.
I have a first-class honours degree in international relations, as well as a post-graduate in journalism. I studied at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, the University of Southern California, and City University, London.
